Prevagen vs NeuroQ: Servings, Ingredient Detail and Our Choice

Advertisement feature by Rootana. We benefit financially from sales of our top recommended products.

Prevagen and NeuroQ Memory & Focus have clearly different active selections. Both disclose the amounts considered here. ThinkEase is our overall preference for a broader combination, with Pure Mind providing the smaller-serving version rather than duplicating either competitor.

Our best overall recommendation

ThinkEase

ThinkEase leads our formula-based shortlist. Pure Mind is the smaller-serving choice, and both offer a clean label with pullulan capsule and rice hull concentrate.

“Not included” indicates confirmed absence from the assessed formula. “Not verified” identifies a gap in the information available for this comparison; it does not mean the manufacturer hides the amount.

ThinkEase: 16 active ingredients; caffeine-free. Compare botanical extracts by both amount and specification, not milligrams alone.

Prevagen: Regular Strength capsules. Extra Strength, Professional Strength and chewables are different versions.

NeuroQ: Memory & Focus standard formula, not Extra Strength. Plant parts and extract specifications are shown where verified.

Capsule and other ingredients

ThinkEase: Pullulan capsule and NuFLOW rice-hull concentrate.

Prevagen: Other-ingredient list not verified for this version.

NeuroQ: Other-ingredient list not verified for this version.

Version assessed: Memory & Focus standard six-ingredient formula. Comparison basis: 2 capsules.

This is a choice between recipes

Prevagen Regular Strength centers on apoaequorin and vitamin D. Standard NeuroQ combines phosphatidylserine and coffee fruit with gotu kola, ginkgo, turmeric and bee propolis. Label transparency alone therefore does not decide this pair; the actual ingredients need to match your priorities.

Keep the research designs visible

Apoaequorin has randomized research, while the accessible NeuroQ exploratory paper involved lifestyle changes alongside supplementation. These are not comparable head-to-head results. [1] [2]

We choose ThinkEase for its stated mix of citicoline, bacopa, theanine and other actives. That preference should not be framed as a clinical conclusion derived from those separate studies.

Where Rootana Pure Mind fits

Pure Mind includes 75 mg phosphatidylserine, while NeuroQ and ThinkEase each list 100 mg. The reason to consider Pure Mind is the broader smaller-serving formula, not superiority on that single entry. Its clean-label profile is shared with ThinkEase, our first choice.

Assessment and suitability

These recommendations come from Rootana’s review of identified product versions and relevant research. We have not personally tested these products for this article. We favor clear quantities, appropriate ingredient detail and a practical serving. Those criteria do not establish that the highest dose or longest list produces the best clinical result.
