I'm Duncan. I’ve spent over two decades working in nutrition, wellness and brand strategy—leading marketing and innovation for companies like Unilever, Myprotein and Nutrisure. Throughout my career, I’ve helped build and grow some of the most recognized names in supplements, superfoods and sports nutrition, always with a focus on creating products that are effective, transparent and grounded in real consumer needs.

At Rootana, we set out to solve a problem many of us were facing: how to eat well when life gets busy. Complete Meal shakes seemed like a smart solution—but too often, they were filled with artificial sweeteners, overly processed ingredients and a taste that felt far from real food. So, as a team, we took a different approach.

We spent over two years developing Rootana—a plant-based meal shake made with real food ingredients, no artificial sweeteners and balanced, digestible nutrition.
