Prevagen vs Neuriva: Servings, Ingredient Detail and Our Choice

Advertisement feature by Rootana. We benefit financially from sales of our top recommended products.

Prevagen and Neuriva Original both keep the active list short, but they do not use the same ingredients. We favor ThinkEase for a wider daily selection. Rootana Pure Mind offers that selection in a smaller serving for readers who want a different balance.

Our best overall recommendation

ThinkEase

ThinkEase leads our formula-based shortlist. Pure Mind is the smaller-serving choice, and both offer a clean label with pullulan capsule and rice hull concentrate.

“Not included” indicates confirmed absence from the assessed formula. “Not verified” identifies a gap in the information available for this comparison; it does not mean the manufacturer hides the amount.

ThinkEase: 16 active ingredients; caffeine-free. Compare botanical extracts by both amount and specification, not milligrams alone.

Prevagen: Regular Strength capsules. Extra Strength, Professional Strength and chewables are different versions.

Neuriva: Original capsules, not Plus, Ultra or gummies. This is the two-active formula.

Capsule and other ingredients

ThinkEase: Pullulan capsule and NuFLOW rice-hull concentrate.

Prevagen: Other-ingredient list not verified for this version.

Neuriva: Other-ingredient list not verified for this version.

Version assessed: Original capsules, not Plus, Ultra or gummies. Comparison basis: 1 capsule.

Two simple formulas, two different choices

Prevagen Regular Strength pairs apoaequorin with vitamin D. Neuriva Original pairs decaffeinated coffee fruit extract with phosphatidylserine. Both use one capsule, so routine alone is unlikely to decide between them. The substantive question is which specific ingredients you meant to buy.

Research does not make the ingredients interchangeable

Published studies exist for apoaequorin and for Neuriva’s coffee-fruit/phosphatidylserine combination. They are different trials, not a direct comparison between these two products. [1] [2]

ThinkEase brings several other actives into one disclosed serving. We prefer that breadth without interpreting either competitor study as proof that our recommended formula wins clinically.

Where Rootana Pure Mind fits

Pure Mind provides 75 mg phosphatidylserine, below Neuriva Original’s 100 mg. It is therefore the broader smaller-serving alternative, not the highest-dose phosphatidylserine choice. ThinkEase supplies 100 mg within its fuller formula and retains first place.

Assessment and suitability

These recommendations come from Rootana’s review of identified product versions and relevant research. We have not personally tested these products for this article. We favor clear quantities, appropriate ingredient detail and a practical serving. Those criteria do not establish that the highest dose or longest list produces the best clinical result.
